Lithium Button Cell / Coin Cell Batteries

Button Cell / Coin Cell Batteries

Lithium (CR) button and coin cell batteries are used to power small portable electronics devices such as wrist watches, pocket calculators, artificial cardiac pacemakers, implantable cardiac defibrillators, automobile key less entry transmitters, and hearing aids. Thinner variants are usually called coin cells because they resemble coins, while thicker ones are called button cells. Button cell or coin cell batteries are normally used in products requiring a long service life, typically well over a year in continuous use in a wristwatch for example.
