| A
UPS (uninterruptible power source) is a secondary
power source to use in the event of power
failure. It has the ability to continue delivering
power in the event that the primary source
is not working. The size and complexity of
the UPS system determines what are acceptable
levels of power. UPS systems come in various
sizes and functions. |
 |
|
| All
of the Energizer UPS units include AVR. A
UPS system that features "AVR" (automatic
voltage regulation) will correct the voltage
if it is over or under the normal levels.
"Buck" refers to the lowering of
voltage and "boost" refers to the
raising of voltage. |
